30th April 2000 was a historic day for the towns of Biggleswade England and Erlensee Germany. People from both towns gathered in Biggleswade to sign a charter marking the start of an official twinning union. It was a day of celebration in Biggleswade Market Square.

This site was launched in the hope that it will help our communities to communicate and forge links.
