About us

Biggleswade Pentecostal Church is a friendly, growing church, in the Bedfordshire town of Biggleswade, right on the A1.

To find out more about us, please see the information below, or use the links on the right. If these fail to answer your questions, please contact us directly, and we will be pleased to help.

What time does your church start?
Our morning service starts at 10.30am.

What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Some people come smartly dressed, others come more casually.

What should I expect on my first visit?
When you arrive you will receive a warm welcome at the door from our greeters who may give you a newsletter and other information about the church and our events.

We begin with about 30 minutes of music led by our live worship band. We usually stand as we sing and some people enjoy raising their hands or clapping, some even wave banners from time to time. We get excited about God! We encourage everyone to participate. Don't worry if you don't know the words... we didn't know the songs at first either!

We usually celebrate communion together, which is a symbolic act where bread and juice is shared to remind us of what Jesus has done for us. Feel free to either take part or simply gesture to the server that you don't wish to take part.

You will hear what's on for the week, then will enjoy an inspirational message tackling real issues that will hopefully leave you ready to face the adventure of a new week. The service finishes around noon, with tea and coffee.

What about my children?
There is Treasure Tots for children of pre-school age and Treasure Kids for children aged 5 to 11 years. The children usually stay in the service during the singing and then go out to their groups before the sermon starts.

Biggleswade Pentecostal Church has a full Child Protection Policy in place and leaders are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked.

Where can I park?
There is a free public car park opposite the church hall.
